away support today...

First away game I have been to in a while.
At half time a large section of the upper tier West Ham disappeared, leaving a big block of empty seats in the middle of our section for the second half.
Caused a lot of amusement to all the Tottenham around me.
Who on earth leaves at half time when it's only 2-0?
Halfway through the second half at 3-0 you could see an even larger number of our fans heading for the exits.
With twenty minutes to go we had lost maybe half of our support.
Don't like to see that kind of thing, especially at away games. We're there to support the club through thick and thin.
Some people need to take a look at themselves.

We should've lost about 7-1... That's probably why a fair few fucked-off as it was game over after 50-odd minutes...

So much more was expected performance wise today so you can't criticise our fans for being quiet or leaving early...
Again, it should've been at least 7-1 in the end... We were that shit...

You don't think it's a matter of pride to stay and support the club? Strange mentality you have.
I can remember an away game at Charlton in the 2002-3 season where we were torn apart exactly the same as today. Charlton scored four that night too. Parker was on fire.
But the West Ham were singing "5-4, we're gonna win 5-4" all the way to the final whistle. Magnificent.

Football isn't the be all and end all to everyone, so if they pay their money and reckon they'd have more fun giving themselves an extra hour in the pub, then they can leave when they want.

You can argue the toss over leaving before the final whistle but leaving at half time when it's only 2-0 is unforgiveable.
